The development included the subdivision of the existing Checkers and House and Home retail space on Level 4. The Checker’s box was completed to a “shell” with all internal works inclusive of electrical, mechanical, and fire services. The existing mall from the central court to the new Checkers shopfront was revamped to align with the rest of the mall design. A new “baby change” facility unique to Sandton City and a new waste management facility also formed part of this development.
The development was successfully completed in 2020.
