Project Description
ACost Quantity Surveyors were part of the Hatch Africa consortium that were awarded this study. The study investigated the strategic interventions on the existing Gautrain corridor to optimise the system and provide strategic guidance to Gautrain Management Agency. ACost Quantity Surveyors provided key cost and commercial advisory on all proposed interventions by the Hatch Africa technical team.

Order of magnitudes, fixed infrastructure, operational, maintenance and none fare revenue estimates. This entailed 64 project interventions.
Formulating a cost database on relevant and appropriate completed projects.
Attending to consortium, programme, and client meetings.
Strategic guidance on key interventions to the consortium.
Advising on procurement options and project timelines.
